In the works…

I am excited to announce that my first-to-be published work of fiction – a cozy mystery – is scheduled for release in the Spring of 2022!

The leap from nonfiction to fiction was a scary one, but it was assisted by taking Joe Bunting’s 100 Day Book course, where I met some wonderful writing companions. If you have the time and dedication to make a weekly writing commitment and enjoy reading the works of others as well as creating your own, I highly recommend it. For me, it was well worth the time. A bonus, the icing on the cake, was the very enjoyable writing of the other students. Joe Bunting and his courses may be found at The Write Practice.

My thanks to author Derek Murphy, one of the very best indie-author resources to be found on the internet, for his referral to the course. Derek Murphy (Guerrilla Publishing on Facebook; Creative Indie publishing at https://www.creativindie.com/) and Dave Chesson (Kindlepreneur at https://kindlepreneur.com/) are two upstanding authors at the top of my best-and-most-trustworthy resources list. Both provide many resources – online at no charge – for indie authors, which may be invaluable for anyone just starting out writing and publishing their own work.

The Untimely Demise of Mr. Harold Howard Hancock was my project for the 100 Day Book course, and is currently under review by my beta readers.

Stay tuned for a soon-to-be-coming link where you can sign up for an advance reader copy!
